Top public intellectuals

9 05 2008

Prospect and Foreign Policy magazines are issuing a list with the world’s 100 leading public intellectuals. Voting is open for anyone, however, I do not believe that’s something to vote for (let alone online and in that way). Nevertheless, I took a look and found several names I’ve never heard before. Interesting way to explore more issues and learn about more people, whom at least seem to be worth spending sometime reading about them, their work and more important, their views.

A quick observation; Lawrence Lessig was on the list back on 2005, however, his name does not appear on the current one. Of course, anyone may suggest him and any other name people think should be there (this option is offered as well).
