Non-Greeks will have a hard time to follow this (my apologies) but just like the Chuck Norris facts, there is a big list in Greek; Makis facts (I will not refer to the site, google it ), it’s quite quite popular nowadays (wonder why?). My top 3:

Ericsson signs major agreement in Greece

I haven’t read anything about the agreement on any Greek news website, however, I got the feed from Google news. It seems that Ericsson (the same one recently fined for wire-tapping scandal ) has signed contracts as the total solution provider and prime integrator of Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) to support the launch of seven digital cities across Greece (municipalities of Agrinio, Chania, Ermoupolis, Ierapetra, Iraklio, Kozani and Rethymno). They are responsible for supplying and installing FTTx (Fiber-to-the-Premises) backbone telecommunications infrastructure (also including switching and WiFi systems). This will provide high-speed broadband services to citizens and support next-generation services.

Sounds promising!
